Balmain. Men.

 I wanted to make sure I posted these photos of Balmains collections from a spread in Huge Magazine. Please take a look at the pieces in these photos and also the style in which its portrayed. I really enjoy Balmains work and I like the way they represent their fashions through edgy shots such as the ones above. So I conclude, Balmain is doing it and doing it well.

Lanvin.Genius.And Doll inspirer.

I love reporting on a favorite designer house of mine and Fashion Maven Cee andddd Black Russian 808. Lanvin. Not everyone is familiar with him but thats fine with us, because we are the swaggerflu blog team and we recognize the finest in fashion and swagger. So, with that being said...The founder and creative director of the fashion house Lanvin, Alber Elbaz has created a series of 7 stunning china lanvin dolls that mimic the spring summer 09 collection. This is a very limited collectors item, as only 800 figurines will be made. Waiting list is now be taken at Browns Fashion. So for those who would not buy the dolls, my question to you is, how can you not love a designer that is this exclusive?

Designer watch : IXBALAMKE.

 The shoes seen above are of fashion designer IXBALAMKE's 2009-10 collection. I caught an interview with the designer at SheBreathes and the featured shoes were stunning but have nothing on the ones on the designers website! Check out the designers site by clicking the name above and see some really sickkk shoes. They are all very different which is what stands out to me when looking for designers to point out on the swaggerflu.

I have to start off saying the first pair up here is from designer Bruno Frisoni and it is the Fan Sandal. I absolutely love the color and the shape overall, its very different. Below is a Christian Louboutin studded shoe which from what I hear is hard to get a hold of, but if you can prove what Ive heard wrong, please feel free to post the link in the comments.

Boat Swag

A re-occuring trend I have seen since early this spring is transitioning into the fall it seems. The good thing about this trend of boat shoe wearing (off the boat!), is that there is a huge variety of colors and materials which range from the leather sides, the bottoms and even the laces. Check out this recent feature in Complex Mag for their list of the top 10 Mens boating shoes where Ralph Lauren, Vans and Urban Outfitters make the list.

McQueen.

This is truly one of my hands down favorite designers. His pieces are always unique and his line is always developing fresh new designs that never seem boring. Ladies you must check out all of these Alexander McQueen collection shoes from his fall collection.

So there is the reaalllyy cool clothing site for chicks called http://www.dimepiecedesigns.com/ that Cassie is the face of and I stumbled upon some of these very nice photos of her modeling the goods. Cassie has developed some major swag since the chopping of the hair I must say. But, nonetheless, they have some really neat stuff check them out.

So, Belgian fashion designer Martin Margiela created these very different but stylish guitar satchels. If you are a player, this is a very unique way of standing out and at the same time carry your guittar with some swag.

 Lanvin, who makes some of the best luxury sneakers in the market, and now they are moving their sneakers out of the dust bags and onto actual bags. Fashion Maven Cee spotted some sweet bags from Lanvin’s Fall/Winter 2009 accessories collection. Simple bags (in a nylon tote and a flannel duffel version) in grey and navy are decorated with embroidered Lanvin sneakers. The handles and trimmings are from brown leather.

Sweet little purse.

Ok, these little cupcake purses from Judith Leiber are really cute. As seen on Katy Perry and Rocsi from 106 & Park. They are different and seem very well made. The cupcake purse is available on net-a-porter.com.
